2006 New York Code - Effect Of Inconsistent Provisions



 
    §  2749.  Effect of inconsistent provisions. Insofar as the provisions
  of this title are inconsistent with the provisions  of  any  other  act,
  general  or  special, or of the county charter, any local law, ordinance
  or resolution of a participating county or any other municipality within
  the  area  of  operation,  the  provisions  of  this  title   shall   be
  controlling.  Nothing  contained  in  this  section  shall  be  held  to
  supplement or otherwise expand the powers or  duties  of  the  authority
  otherwise set forth in this title. Nothing contained in this title shall
  be  held  to alter or abridge the powers and duties of the department of
  environmental conservation or the department of health.
